My Staff and I have been working on our education credentials through Portland State University. We each take at least 15 hours a year of continuing education to maintain our license. Becky averages 50-60 hours a year of continuing education. Portland State has steps of achievement called the Oregon Registry Credential Program. There are 12 steps that can be achieved. Currently as of July 2010. Becky has completed a Step 7, David has completed a Step 6, Lynn has completed a Step 5 and Amber has completed a Step 2. I am a AFSCME Childcare Providers Together Union Member. I am a Gresham Chapter & Certified Chapter PRO Member. I am also the Co-Chair on the Board of Directors for PRO. I volunteer countless hours to both organizations, because I believe in helping improving childcare in Oregon. Both Organizations are passionate about childcare and making it better for children, families and daycare providers.
