Activities
We try to play outside rain or shine. We have
a great covered patio
and we wear our rubber boots and have tons of fun
on all the outdoor equipment. We also have a
outdoor paint station under the patio to enjoy.
Indoors we have a wonderful choices to do!
For example: Cars, trains, Mr. Potato head, blocks, dress-
up, reading, dolls, kitchen, puzzles, games, arts and crafts.
We also create our own pre-school program. We
have a
letter of the week, along with numbers, colors and shapes of the month.
Each month we have two themes and we learn about the
subject and do arts and craft projects that relate to the subject.
We have circle time, where we try to practice
recalling something from our memory, songs, learn about the calendar and discuss
the weather.
When we can the children help make our
snacks. We try to seek kid friendly ideas that we can make during pre-school and
eat at snack time.
During the Spring and Summer we take walks to
the park at
North Gresham Grade School (about 5 blocks away) to get out run and play
ball with out a fence. We also like to go to Blue Lake park in the summer when
we have a picnic and to play in the New Water Spray park.
Our program is all about having fun,
socializing, and preparing children to be for ready for Kindergarten. |
