We have limited openings next fall.
Take your time to research and select your favorite 8 programs. Applications close on April 30th. The applications are not first come first serve. PFA has a computerized enrollment process that is like a lottery system.
Amazing Minds Learning Center Preschool
Our Mission
At Amazing Minds Learning Center, our mission is to provide high-quality early learning services that promote child development and growth. We strive to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and explore.
Outdoor Learning
At Amazing Minds preschool and child care, we include as much outside learning as possible including creating mud pies, digging in the sand, riding trikes, climbing, swinging, and learning to make friends throughout the day.
Daily Activities
We also bring the inside activities outside by providing dramatic play, art, sensory, Science, building, and problem solving to our outdoor space! We aim provide a variety of learning experiences on our amazing playground to meet the individual needs, development goals, and interests of each child.
Indoor Learning
We have indoor and outdoor classrooms at both of our schools to provide the children with smaller group learning activities to engage their interests. Our programs specialize in toddler & preschool care for children 6 weeks to 6 years old.
Dramatic Play & Sensory Art
We offer a large variety of themed dramatic play, as well as hands-on art experiences with different mediums and tools to enhance children's senses and imaginations. Ask us more about what we do to enhance your child's social-emotional development and learning!
Manipulative's & Building
Our indoor classrooms are filled with tons of possibilities to build with a small group of friends to create amazing structures from legos, magnetic manipulatives, and wooden blocks. We emphasize all types of developmental learning, and it is important to us to help your child reach their goals and help their little minds and hearts flourish!
Homemade Meals and Snacks with Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
We serve a variety of homemade meals including street tacos, spaghetti, teriyaki chicken, soups, pancakes, muffins, and a diverse selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. We also include cooking, baking, and gardening into our curriculium to include the children in making the food they are eating!
Preschool For All slots at Amazing Minds are currently full for 2025.
Preschool Program and School Aged Children (Current enrollment is closed).
Preschool For All has reserved 16 slots for 2026-27 at our preschool to start in September.
PFA Requirements:
- You and your child must be Multnomah County residents.
- Your child must be a minimum of 3 years old prior to Sept 1, 2026.
- You must apply to Preschool For All in order to be awarded a slot at one of the many PFA locations in Multnomah County.
Preschool For All: Full Day & Year Around 6:00 AM-4:00 PM
PFA Applications are open April 1st until April 30th, 2026!
We are offering an open house to PFA families enrolled in our preschool program to preview our preschool and meet our staff:

12 months to 3 years old:
6:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Friday
We accept private pay, ERDC, TANIF's Jobs Program, and the City of Portland CCIP Vouchers!
- 3 full days a week or 5 half days a week is $1275 a month.
- 4 full days a week is $1475 a month.
- 5 full days a week is $1675 a month.

We have openings for children over 12 months old!
Our current openings are for 2 Toddlers at this time. If you start by May 1, 2026 we will waive the $150 enrollment fee and give 50% off your 2 weeks tuition.
We are also accepting reservations for fall 2026.
To pre-register for Sept, by now until July 31, 2026. We will give 25% off Septembers tuition. We have 6 fall openings, replacing kiddos moving to our preschool.

We understand that every family has different needs, and our program caters to early morning work schedules. Our families, typically start work by 7 am and pick up by 4 pm. We work with families to contract our hours annually to the current hours needed. We are usually flexible and our typical hours are 6:30 am and as late as 4:30 pm when needed. We try to keep our day as close to 10 hours as possible. Whether you need full-time or part-time child care, we have a program that works for you and your family.

We believe that a well-rounded diet is essential for a child's development in many ways. We strive to provide a large variety of nutritious meals and snacks that are both delicious and balanced. We introduce new food frequently and include fruits and veggies with each lunch we serve. Each meal is homemade in our homey kitchen with love. We also have a garden at the preschool that we grow fruits and veggies in to make treats for children at both locations. We love food and aim to encourage a positive relationship with food and nutrition.
